One of the leading interpreters of Italian influenced music for theater and film in New York City, guitarist, composer, and arranger John T. La Barbera –presents with his eclectic ensemble called Antidotum, a performance  made up of bowed and plucked strings, combined with woodwinds, accordion and various percussion. La Barbera’s works explore influences taken from Italian Medieval thru Baroque styles, traditional Italia folk  music, tinged with Latin and jazz elements, highlighting rich melodies with new uplifting arrangements, passion and rhythmic drive.
